NEW LOOK!
Having looked around the Church and the Tower, I would like to start my tour with some old photographs of the exterior of the church:

The above picture was taken in 1956 and shows Childwall Church Choir.
Notice the flagpole by the lytch gate, the sign to the left of the flagpole and the sign on the right hand side of the picture!

This picture was taken in July 1989 of Childwall Church Choir. Alan Thwaite can be seen on the far left as Choir Master and in the centre you will recognise Colin Rookwood! Webmaster says: 'I am in this picture somewhere...but I'm not saying which is me!'
A black and white image of All Saints Church from the 1960's.
This picture was taken in the 1950's and is of the Boys Brigade at the rear of the church.

At first glance, this is a picture of the graveyard in the 1960's. However at the bottom of Score Lane park there are no houses! Also, just over what was the Railway track (now the loop line) is the start of Childwall Heights.
The same view as above.
A picture of the Childwall Bowling club taken in 1954. My Grandfather, Albert Wild is the 5th person from the left on the back row.
The 'classic' view of the Church viewed from Childwall Abbey Road. On the 1960's view, we see what is the cobbled area which stood in front of the Stables and where the car is parked at the side of the pub; this is now the pavement. We also see the flagpole at the front of the chuch and notice the lack of road markings. Apart from that, this view has virtually unchanged for many years!
The Lord Mayor's Coach and Horses outside the Church Hall.
The Memorial Stone in front of the Tower.
The mozaic tiles on the Sir Andrew Barclay Walker grave.
The side lytchgate and sign.
