My name is Jonathon Wild.
I am a local historian and the Proprietor of WILD WEBSITES!
I have been born and bred in Childwall for 30 years and have seen parts of the area change so much, yet there are other parts that have not changed for hundreds of years.
I went to Childwall C of E school (Salisbury House), have been a member of the Church Choir, and a member of the 35th Boys Brigade all the way from the Anchor boys to the Company Section.
A keen Church Bell Ringer, I was taught to ring at All Saints, Childwall tower and have held many positions there including Steeple Keeper and Ringing Master, teaching people to ring from the ages of 11+ upwards.
All my family have rung there and I can trace back over 40 years ringing at the tower with the immediate family.
I would like to hear from anyone that has fond memories of Childwall, whether they can recall something from many years ago or would like to post any item to me via e-mail.
